Linux-Bangalore/2003 : Day 1
Thanks to my company stall, I couldn't attend any of the talks today. Was at the stall most of the time and when I did have free time, I could not enter any of the halls. They were just too packed ( and this year even the 800 seater audi was packed too ). Met tons of old people whom I have not met in years ( Classmates, ex-LUG members , linux-india folks etc.) and tons of people whom I've only met online ( LJ users : mannu, teemus,fox2mike, bluesmoon )

There was a mini foo camp kinda thingy in the evening at windor pub. As udhay puts it - "Put the best brains together and you will see amazing stuff coming out". Well thats pretty much what happened. Miguel, Jeremy, Rasmus, Nat, Thaths, Udhay, Biju, mmk, manu and me were there and there were all kind of discussions ranging from searching indexing problems to digital camera's. Nat's camera kicks ass. My new camera felt like a point-and-shoot in front of his and I am still drooling over his collection of lenses. rasmus posted some pics here.

I had the privilege to drive all the folks back home in my rollerskate ( as rasmus calls it ). This was one ride I had to be careful about ( half the open source projects will get screwed if that had happened )



Oh forgot to mention, me and Miguel got into a "My food has more chilli then yours" fight. So mostly we will be settling the Mexico vs India fight tomorrow night.
